Zincfix® Zincfix® is a new development combining the convenience of squish pack technology with the chemistry of solvent free epoxies. The Association is the authorized supplier of this product which can be purchased from our offices or a Galvanizing Member. For more information please contact Saskia or submit the enquiry form. Zinc rich epoxies are established repair materials for hot dip galvanized items which have been welded or damaged and require touch-up. Zincfix® is applied to the steel that has been exposed and is an approved coating repair material. Where the repair overlaps the hot dip galvanizing, the surface must be prepared appropriately i.e. abraded with 80 grit abrasive paper and cleaned thoroughly, preferably with a galvanized iron cleaner.
