The Floating Trophy was presented to the team from Armco Galvanizers, who with a score of 59 (count out) broke the 2-year dominance of Robor Galvanizers.  Well done to Johan van Wyk, Gleed Dean, Anton Reddy and William Maluleka. 

The team from Armco Galvanizers won the Pink Lady competition, sponsored by Off the Edge Marketing.  With many pink balls finding their way into the garden of a house on the first tee; David Geraghty, Derek Robinson, Steve Swain and Gavin Craige certainly deserve this win!

The count out system was used extensively during scoring to determine the winning four balls.  Second place, with a score of 59, went to the team of Colin Leech, Benny Jiyane, Shaun Diggeden and Matthew Laing.  Perhaps they succumbed to the pressure applied on them by the organiser of the event!

The team from Off the Edge secured third place.  Congratulations to Ian Stewart, Bryan Harvett, Trevor Cooke and Robbie Hillhouse.

Thanks to the wonderful support of our sponsors, we were able to award prizes to the teams coming in fourth and fifth.  With a score of 58, Willem Van Eeden, Ray Sewdass, Kavish and Riaan Rupnarain of Harrismith Galvanizing secured fourth place.

In fifth place, the team from AC Towers, consisting of Andre Haupt, Marius Van Staden, David Van Staden and Mike Adair ensured the corporate flag “flew high”.  This despite the fact that the 2nd four ball from AC Towers was awarded Longest Day.  Unfortunately someone needs to be at the back of the field and this year, with an improved score of 26 (last year their score was 25), the award for Longest Day went to Jason Rowan, Jorge Martins, Kevin McCabe and Nick van der Mescht. 

The award for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin, sponsored by Robor Galvanizers, was presented to Patrick Smith and Anton Reddy respectively.
