The Hot Dip Galvanizers Association held its first annual Hot Dip Galvanizing Awards in 2000 with the winners being announced
at a gala evening in August. From a mere 12 submissions, attracting 190 guests that year, 2005 boasted in
the region of 22 submissions and 342 guests attending the gala event. Such has been the success of the
Hot Dip Galvanizing Awards of which Eskom has been as the sole sponsor throughout the five year period.
A panel of independent judges comprising of consulting engineers, architects, etc who adjudicate the various categories below:
Other reasons for the enormous success is the prestige associated with winning an award, the professionalism with which it is run and above all the fact that guests walk away having had a really good time! |
